How to perform:
- Curl all fingers into the palm to make a light fist.
- Extend the thumbs out.
- Point your thumbs straight up.
- Rest the hands-on thighs or knees.
- Keep your spine and head straight, shoulders relaxed.
- Perform the mudra with both hands.
Benefits Of Merudanda Mudra:
- This mudra affects the Thoracic spine (middle spine) and Lumbar (Lower spine) from T-1 to T-12 and L-1 to L-5.
- It makes the spinal cord flexible.
- Energy comes into the middle part of the spinal column and the nervous system.
- It strengthens and heals the heart, lungs, liver, pancreas.
- Very effective in back pain.
- Also very effective for Slip Disc.
- For Cervical pain, perform this mudra with Urdhav Merudanda Mudra. Each mudra should be performed for 5-10 minutes morning and evening.
- Perform this mudra with deep long breaths, on an empty stomach for 5-10 minutes morning and evening.
