Both hands will be used for this mudra.
Time:
5 minutes, 7x a day, 3 minutes interval.
In Acute Illness:
20 minutes, 10x a day, 3 minutes interval.
Benefits:
- This mudra will help to correct any imbalances in the energy of the Large Intestine, which may cause constipation or diarrhea, or any other issues.
- According to the Five Element Theory, the large intestine and lung energy are assigned to the same element, that is, the metal element.
- Long-term problems with the Large Intestine will create imbalances in the lungs also.
- Lung energy controls the immune system, which is also connected to the Large Intestine.
- A well-functioning immune system also protects us from allergies. Thus, this mudra is also very important for allergies and the immune system also.
