  • Winter is the season of the Water element.
  • It is the time to rest, to go into hibernation, and replenish our reserves.
  • Blue / Black is the color of the Water Element, the sound is groaning, the sense organ is the Ears, and the emotion is fear.
  • The organs of the Water Element are Bladder and Kidneys
  • The Bladder acts as the reservoir, and the Kidney is in charge of our strength, power, and energy resources.
  • The balanced energy of the Water element enables it to flow freely. We can overcome obstacles and adapt to changes.
  • Healthy water element provides us inner wisdom, courage, and will.
  • Water can be a strong calming force, but it can also be destructive.
  • Flooding and strong rains can be the result.
  • Alternately, drought and stagnation occur when it stops flowing.
  • When our resources are depleted, we lack to will to persevere
  • In our bodies, the bladder governs our bones, brain, head hair, spinal cord, and excretory system in our bodies. The Water Element in the kidneys also transmits parents’ genetic codes to their children.
  • In our lives, the Water Element governs our pre-birth existence, as well as our death.
  • An imbalanced water element will result in indecisiveness, unreasonable fear, paranoia.
  • Physically, it can manifest as back pain, knee pain, kidney and bladder infections, sexual problems (infertility, premature ejaculation, low libido, etc.) fatigue, endocrine disorders, lumbago, kidney or bladder stones, cystitis, bladder cancer, urinary problems, bad teeth, weak bones.
