How to perform :
  1. Place the web between your thumbs and index fingers on both sides of your waist, just under the ribs.
  2. The Thumbs should face backward and the fingers should be pointing forward.
  3. Keep the fingers together with the palms and the forearms parallel to the earth.
Benefits of Kanishtha Sharira Mudra :
  • 'Kanishtha' means 'lowest'. 
  • It directs breath energy into the lower lobes of the lungs and lower abdomen and back.
  • It supports our connection with Sthula Sharira - the Physical body.
